Assistant Manager - Life Claims/Underwriting/Policy Admin

Our client, a leading insurance company, is looking for high-caliber person to fill the position.

Job Duties

Claims Administration

  • Assess LIFE insurance claims
  • Provide reviews on medical reports and general correspondences
  • Handle claims related enquiries and complaints
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and system testing

Underwriting

  • Process applications of individual life and health products
  • Handle inquiry from agents or brokers
  • Provide training to agents or brokers

Risk Assessment

  • Perform risk assessment on individual life and health policies
  • Provide quality service on policy alterations to both clients and agents and handle their enquiries
  • Provide training and guidance to non-medical underwriters

Job Requirements

  • University graduates, at least 3 to 4 years’ experience on claims / underwriting in the LIFE insurance industry
  • Strong problem solving skills and analytical skill
  • Independent, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet challenges
  • Detail-minded, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good command in both written Chinese and English

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Officer/Officer
