Regional Sales Specialist (Financial Services Technology) – Singapore (HK$1M+) (Ref. No.: 23743)

Our client, a global solution provider is looking for a Solution Sales Specialist to drive regional solutions sales to accelerate the achievement of business goals across the Asia Pacific region. The incumbent shall ensure customer success and satisfaction through internal collaboration and external sales activity.

Job Duties

  • You will be a ‘go to’ source of sales support for staff across the Asia Pacific region providing sales enablement, regional training and go to market support attending customer meetings.
  • Agree the enablement plan for the region and own its execution.
  • Accountable for overall Accounting process automation sales strategy and success.
  • Understand customer’s business to be able to explore automation opportunities.
  • Develop and execute account strategy and road maps for a long term relationships.
  • Lead and support OpCos responses to RFP by developing best practice approach and collaborating with other stakeholders from Marketing, Service Delivery and 3rd party partners.
  • Assist OpCos governance procedures with ownership of sales cycle, correct opportunity scoping and clear communication with our customers.
  • Contribute to building role-based learning paths, tools and interactive programs as part of regional sales enablement activities.
  • Tracking and reviewing enablement performance, gaps in skills/ knowledge, and recommending strategy for improvement with regional and local leaders.
  • Delivering Boot Camps and workshops with your extended team as and when needed.
  • Working with analysts/development/engineering or 3rd party teams to define dependencies and timelines and provide ownership during product development/delivery.
  • Acting as an internal expert with respect to competitive products and market trends.
  • Supporting sales, Solution, Product Marketing and delivery efforts to ensure solution, product & customer success.
  • Continuously train sales teams in all countries with new methodologies and best practices. Leverage vendor experience to assist in sales engagements and share success by developing case studies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Finance or Business Management.
  • 5+ years of experience within the Financial services industry, either within an accounts payable department or managing outsource finance BPO.  A history of software sales is advantageous.
  • Highly versed in end to end concept to delivery of modern solutions and services, with specific knowledge in accounts payable process and financial accounting methodology.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of executing sales strategy and engaging with a variety of stakeholders including C-level customer base.
  • A detailed understanding of organizational accounting processes in particular accounts payable process.
  • Understanding of operational requirements when delivering solutions in a managed services context.
  • Demonstrable ability to develop long term repeatable revenue streams with a solutions or manage service context.
  • Comfortable in an environment with frequent dynamic requests from stakeholders.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with a willingness to travel.
  • Experience with financial and business case modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or beat assigned targets and deadlines, making intelligent and informed tradeoffs.
  • Ability to define clear market-driven product requirements and interact closely with Engineering teams to deliver new capabilities.
  • Station in Singapore.
