Sr. Application Analyst / Sr. Analyst Programmer (HK$28K–33K monthly + bonus) (Ref. No.: 24204)

Our client is an institute working closely with government, local regulatory bodies, industry practitioners and their members to set, raise and promote professional standards for the financial services industry.

Job Duties

The role will broadly split between providing support and enhancement services for existing systems and project-based work leading to the development and deployment of new business systems.


  • Provide high quality application support to business, fulfilling requests accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Diagnose and resolve application incidents and problems in a range of applications such as content management system, online enrollment system, etc.
  • Assist in developing system support processes and ensure up-to-date documentation is available for cross team knowledge sharing.
  • Responsible for application development and support with different workforce model.  Coordinate with external vendors throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct Unit Test (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and coordinate User Acceptance Test (UAT), as required.
  • Perform user requirement collection and system analysis with business analysts.  Ensure the system design reflects user requirements.
  • Explore latest technologies and evaluate capabilities of new products where necessary.  Liaises with service providers to select the products or services that best meet company goals.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of software development experience in using
  • .NET, SQL, Java, JavaScript etc.
  • Experience in end-to-end system development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Experience in collaborating with external development team and vendors for project delivery.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and solutions clearly and concisely in both verbal and written dialogue, for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
