Job Summary:-
- Support & monitor the operational process including settlement, corporate actions, record keeping and asset transfer processes of different wealth management, insurance & MPF products
- Review and monitor controls across the team, assess and manage operational risks, escalating as required
- Handle requests & enquiries from different internal and external stakeholders (client, insurance companies, regulatory bodies, and etc) in a timely and professional manner
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:-
- Support & monitor the operational process including settlement, corporate actions, record keeping and asset transfer processes of different wealth management products
- Handle requests & enquiries from different internal and external stakeholders (fund houses, issuers, insurance companies etc) in a timely and professional manner
- Follow-up with counterparties of outstanding payment, coupon & exceptional cases investigation
- Accounting support (daily book-keeping, returns, reports, vouchers & etc)
- Review & verify output from the maker (client communication, reports, dividend claim, data input, and etc)
- Monitor the day-end procedures & reconciliation
- Documentation & product record management (printing, scanning, filing, storage, data input, and control)
- Perform duties as assigned by the line manager
- Work collaboratively with team to identify the best practices, and contribute the success of the Bank
- To comply with all related statutory and regulatory, internal policy and procedure, and service agreement requirements
- Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations of the team
- Timely review & update the operational procedure in accordance to operational risk management standards, service agreement, and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with different stakeholders (i.e. front office, finance / accounting, legal / compliance, insurance companies, MPF provider, IT and other related units) in supporting the daily operational activities as assigned by the line manager & resolve any operational issues of the team
- Review and monitor controls across the team, assess and manage operational risks, escalating as required
- Emphasis on continuous improvement via focus on operations and system enhancements
- Ensure competency across the team of the necessary skills and knowledge to complete all required tasks
- Participate in new product, service, system upgrade, and ad-hoc projects, including workflow design, testing, and etc as assigned
- Participate in work procedure improvement exercises as required
